In order to hone my skills in both Revit and Chief Architect, I practiced by taking measurements of my own home and modeling it in both programs. As a remodel carpenter I would save windows, window sashes, and sliding glass doors that would otherwise have been thrown away. I saved and catalogued them until I had enough to develop a unique, upcycled greenhouse structure. This is a preliminary design, located within my home Revit model.
