Hi, I'm Gus.
From searching for materials in dumpsters to build skateboard ramps as a kid, to building new homes, additions, and new floors in high end residential projects, to designing spaces for the next great restaurants; I have always had a passion for construction and our built environment.

With over ten years of experience in construction, two of which have been dedicated to CAD/BIM design, my expertise spans various software including Revit, AutoCAD, Sketchup, Chief Architect, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
Known for being easy-going, hardworking, and friendly. My passion for problem-solving drives me to maximize efficiency. A highly self-directed and motivated individual, I thrive in both independent and team settings, consistently seeking innovative solutions to challenges.
Beyond my professional endeavors in Carpentry and Architecture, I am self-taught in a wide range of skills and hobbies, proficient in musical instruments, passionate about painting, drawing and the fine arts, and adept in auto/motorcycle mechanics, gardening, cooking, skateboarding, and snowboarding. Continuously pursuing new skills and knowledge, I have a proven track record of rapid learning and adaptation.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Worked on multiple projects from Design Development to Construction Administration. Through utilization of my previous construction experience I was able to verify the viability of many design choices and draft construction details as effectively as my senior colleagues. I was also instrumental in developing graphic styles within the company based on my own experience of reading plans and desiring more clarity. The principal architect frequently used me to aide in design and development of some of his smaller side-projects, and I was regularly consulted regarding designs for our primary projects.
