From diving in dumpsters as a kid searching for materials to build skateboard ramps, to building additions and new floors in high end residential projects, to designing spaces for the next great restaurants, I have always had a passion for construction and our built environment.

I am a highly self-directed and motivated individual with an addiction to learning, who excels in accomplishing tasks with minimal supervision. I thrive in both independent and team environments and possess a strong passion for problem-solving. I am resourceful and always strive to find innovative solutions to challenges.

In addition to my professional pursuits in Carpentry and Architecture, I have developed a diverse range of skills and hobbies through self-teaching. I am proficient in many musical instruments, a passion for painting and drawing, have a solid understanding of auto/motorcycle mechanics, and excel in areas such as gardening, cooking, skateboarding and snowboarding— all of which I taught myself the bulk of what I know through research and trial and error. I am constantly seeking out new skills and knowledge to expand my horizons, and I have a proven track record of being a fast learner.

With my self-motivation, adaptability to group dynamics, and enthusiasm for continuous growth, I am well-equipped to make a significant impact in any environment.

ACHIEVEMENTS

Through utilization of my previous construction experience I was able to verify the viability of many design choices and draft construction details more effectively than some of my more senior colleagues. I was also instrumental in developing graphic styles within the company based on my own experience of reading plans and desiring more clarity. The principal architect frequently used me to aide in design and development of some of his smaller side-projects, and I was regularly consulted regarding designs for our primary projects.
